About Us

The Kirkland Networkers was established in early 2003 by a group of local professionals interested in better serving their clients. The group meets every other Thursday at 7:30 a.m., at Crab Cracker - 452 Central Way, Kirkland, WA 98033

The Mission of the Kirkland Networkers is to provide potential business contacts to members of various professions. This purpose is achieved by exchanging leads, ideas, and other information. It is not the purpose of Networkers to require business between members, but there is no restriction against it either. While Kirkland Networkers is not a service club, the group may undertake such activities upon approval of majority of a quorum of the membership.

Membership is limited to one representative per profession/business. When 2 prospective members attend the same meeting there will be a vote by the Board to determine which prospective member will be admitted.

Kirkland Networkers does not have an official dues or fees schedule. Currently we do request an annual contribution of $50.00 to cover the cost of a business card portfolio, as well as a per quarter contribution of $80.00 to defray the cost of each meeting. Those contributions may be adjusted in the future.

Any member missing two (2) meetings, without advising the Secretary in advance, may be removed from membership. A member may sponsor a prospective member by bringing that prospective member to a meeting. The member that invites a prospective member should introduce his or her guest to the membership. There is no charge to the prospective member for first visit. Unless the member requests a full membership vote, the Board has the responsibility of deciding whether a prospective member shall be admitted. To avoid possible overlapping businesses check with a member of the Board before inviting a prospective member.

There shall be no age, sex, religious, or national origin limitations in consideration of any individual for membership.
